Elementary School to Middle School

This week we have been testing GRADE and GMADE. We also went to the middle schools that we will be going to next year.  We learned so much on how we need to change before next year. We have been working very hard on improving our behavior so next year we will be ready for our new life in middle school!!!

Asia

This week in Social Studies we talked about how workers in Asia mostly make our clothing. We did skit about how the working conditions in their factories are not very good. They get paid about 21 cents a hour. They don't have near as much Human Rights as we do, so they have to work overtime and sometimes even get abused. If someone gets fired then the person or people in that department have to work twice as hard as they did with the other person there.

It's "Comma" Sense

In language arts we have been learning about commas. They can separate independent clauses like: My Grandma Maggie is old, but she likes to run a mile. It's comma sense where to use a comma.
Fun Fact:Commas can also be a group of butterflies!

This week in Math RTI we are building pyramids in groups and learning about mummification. We are going to start to learn about integers in math next week. In science we are learning about the rock cycle and made our very own comic strips.
